This 7-module learning pathway is designed for caseworkers supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people in Out of Home Care. It builds practical knowledge and culturally safe practice skills across key areas including care systems, cultural awareness, legal and ethical responsibilities, best practice approaches, education, health and wellbeing, and transition planning. The course strengthens decision-making and supports more informed, respectful, and culturally grounded care that improves long-term outcomes for young people, families, and communities.
